Faith Bible Church

FAQ's

We’re thrilled that you’d think to come and check us out!  Here’s what you need to know:

What time are your services?

We offer two services at 9 a.m and 10:45 am.

Where are services?

Our facility is at 17230 N. 59th Ave.

Do you offer programs for children?

Yes.  Programs are offered for all ages while parents attend worship and classes. The safety of your child is important to us. Nursery and Toddlers are signed in inside their rooms with their leaders.  All others check in inside the children's hallway and parents accompany their children to their rooms.  We use security codes for pick up and emergency calling of parents.  Our outdoor play area is locked and only accessible from the classrooms.  All volunteers work in a minimum team of two and all adult leaders have had a background check.  We also maintain an allergy list posting in our rooms.  If your child has any special needs, please contact the Pastor of Children and Families.  We are happy to work with every child possible.

At the 9am services children who are 1st grade and older will sit with their parents in the begining of worship and then be excused to their classes. For parents who are attending a class during the 9 am service, we provide leaders for your child to sit with during this time.

Is it ok if my kids sit with me during our first visit?

Absolutely!  Do whatever is best for your family on that first visit. If your kids like to check out their programs while you go to worship – great!  If you’d rather be together those first few weeks, your children are more than welcome to sit with you.

Where are my kids during worship?

Nursery (newborn-18 mo’s) room is on the South side of the vestibule. Toddler’s room is on the West side of the vestibule.  Please sign your little one in at the counter in their room.  The sign in sheet will indicate where we can locate you if needed before you return.

Preschool up to Elementary children’s rooms are North of the Vestibule, through the double doors. Adults are not allowed in the children's classrooms without clearance, and all children must be signed in at the Children's Check-In Center in the hall.  If you are new to Faith and would like to peek in on your child(ren) during Sunday School, please let us know at the Check-In Center and we will get you a pass. We are parents too, and understand.

If you have any questions or would like help finding your way around, volunteers are available throughout the church, each are wearing a burgandy and white lanyard, and are here to make your visit to Faith Bible Church one of comfort and worship.

What about my teenagers?

Jr. High teens worship with adults at 9:00am and then have Sunday School in the youth room (101). High School students meet in the youth room at 9:00am and worship with the adults at 10:45am. College age students meet in the cafe and worship with the adults at 10:45am.

Sunday School for teens is a time of Bible study focusing on the needs, challenges and temptations that our junior and senior high students face. (See our “Student” section for more details)

Do you have Adult Sunday School Classes?

Sunday mornings we offer four classes for adults - two meet at 9am and two at 10:45am. Class topics are chosen from a core of subjects that provide basic Biblical and theological understanding for the Christian faith. Current class topics

What kind of music do you have?

Because we are a multi-generational church, we worship in many styles with a variety of accompaniments.  Most services feature a mix of traditional hymns, newer hymns, as well as contemporary praise music.

What should I wear?

The dress style in Phoenix is pretty casual and so are we. However, if you were raised in a more formal environment where people wore their “Sunday best,” you’ll also feel at home.  In short, wear whatever best facilitates a worshipful heart.

How many people will there be?

Most Sundays there are between 400 – 500 people attending worship.
